PROJECT NY Winter 2011 | Day 1

PROJECT, the bi-annual fashion tradeshow event is changing the game upon their return to NY in a new venue at 82 Mercer Street in SoHo. It is now more concise and better curated with young and emerging brands as well as established ones all on one floor. I stopped by briefly yesterday and will be back for more in-depth features and pictures but check out a few I caught before I got caught up in conversations.

My friend Marcus Troy was the official PROJECT NY correspondent, he was busy interviewing people all day.

Here's a peek at the DRx (Darren Romanelli) jackets, amazing as always.

It was good to see Erik Sacher of Silver Lining Opticians at PROJECT, his store is part of PROJECT's first pop-up store "Made in New York" where a few local brands are carefully selected to embody the lifestyle of the PROJECT Man.

Ernest Alexander has a bunch of cool bags, take a look at their overnight bags and their rucksack backpack, real slick. They also have a bunch of really clean totes, belts and other accessories in their line up. The best thing about the brand is that all the items are all made in the Garment District in NYC.

Nchimunya is a stylish BKc SF to BKc NYc transplant, who fits in perfectly.

Gabe of The BKc, all layered up!

The Bearded Man himself, Quigi Theodore of The BKc showing you how he does it.

A well-groomed beard is a must!

Met up with Kirsy Lovett briefly, she stunting with her YSL tote.

*Side Note: I would like to thank the people at PROJECT for inviting me to the show.
