Lupe Fiasco, Santigold, Kenna & Elizabeth Gore all participated in SUMMIT ON THE SUMMIT: Kilimanjaro, where they faced subzero temperatures and climbed 19,340 ft to the top of the mountain to help "raise awareness about the absence of clean water access across the world." They were all outfitted in Eddie Bauer / First Ascent mountaineering gear to brace the cold, harsh conditions.

The project is called SUMMIT ON THE SUMMIT. Eddie Bauer / First Ascent is proud to be the official expedition outfitter for SUMMIT ON THE SUMMIT: Kilimanjaro. The SOTS: K climbers will face subzero temperatures and First Ascent will be there to keep the team warm and fight the fatigue that comes with the strenuous climb. A champion of the outdoors for over 90 years, Eddie Bauer / First Ascent is the ideal participant to equip this team with the gear and apparel to survive the climb. Additionally, First Ascent Guide Melissa Arnot joined the team and brings her skills as a trained wilderness emergency medic and Leave No Trace trainer.
