RETAIL FEATURE | Silver Lining Opticians

I was recently invited by cofounder Jordan Silver of Silvering Lining Opticians, a small eyewear shop to preview their vintage eyewear collection. The small, cozy little shop is an eyewear gold-mine, packed full of dead-stock gems. You can find everything from original American Bausch & Lomb-made Ray-Bans and Persols from the 60's and 70's to vintage Christian Dior to vintage Balenciaga and everything in between.

Silver Lining Opticians, founded by Jordan Silver and licensed optician Erik Sacher in 2007 brings back the old-school neighborhood optician environment and focuses on the quality and design of the frames. Rihanna was recently spotted at this celebrity eyewear hot spot picking up sunglasses before her trip to London. (See Rihanna's Silver Lining Carry On). Word from Jordan is that she is coming back soon to pick up more sunnies (I got flicks of the ones, she is coming back for). Stay tuned for that, until then, check out the behind-the-scenes photos of the shop and it's massive vintage eyewear collection.
