TASTEMAKER INTERVIEW: Liz Baca

Hello my name is...
Liz "BusyLady" Baca...the BusyLady part is no joke.
I represent...
for the past via the present, providing search and rescue missions for forgotten fashions. I rep wild styles in my own personal dress and in my work. I rep for lady entrepreneurs...doing it for ourselves! I rep M.I.S.S. all day everyday. And please believe I represent on the dance floor.

The reason that you are reading about me is...
William and I follow each other on Twitter and he thought ya'll might like to know about me. Guess my "tweets" are interesting...Thank-you William! Other than that, I am a bit of an eccentric when it comes to style. I work a crazy hustle on both coast's as a stylist (wardrobe and nails), vintage clothing dealer and fashion blogger.

Right now I'm working on...
keepin' the hustle tight. Photoshoots in the works, seasonal styling work in full effect mode, my bi-coastal hustle, hunting down the vintage booty, re-vamping web-sites for M.I.S.S. and GottaGetTheGoods, a little "sneak-ret" that I can't tell you about and dancing as much as possible. Rave Till Yawn. Never not working.

I am inspired by...
Survival and being self-sufficient. Your art teacher circa 1987. Advanced Style. Piles of stuff.
I can not live without...
air, water, food, love, dancing, laughing, my friends and family. I would hate to live without my celly and my laptop but i lived without both before, I could probably figure how to do it again....maybe.

Ladies of M.I.S.S.
I love...
being in love, it is a rare and favorite feeling. I love being my own boss as much as I hate it sometimes. I love that I get to see my friends all over the country so often. And I can truly say I love my job!
My favorite brands are...
Jeanne Marc, Karl Lagerfeld, Coco Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, Holly Harp, Moschino, Gianni Versace, Jeremy Scott, Bernard Wilhelm, Peggy Noland, Marithe Francois Girbaud, Marc Jacobs for Perry Ellis, Contempo Casuals, Brian Lichtenberg, Nicholas Kirkwood...to name a few...

You need to listen to...
your heart and your gut feelings...your instincts are rarely wrong. Also DJ Kingdom, ¡ME GUSTA! and 90's Rave cut's keep me going musically.
I would love to give a shout out to...
to my Mom's for be a constant source of love, laughter and inspiration, to M.I.S.S. (www.missomnimediacom), to my East Coast and West Coast Silly's and to Mr. T, who couldn't have said it better: "Table the label and where your own name." word.
