TASTEMAKER: VINTAGE VANDALIZM
Hello my name is...
Jasmin Rodriguez, also known as Vintage Vandalizm.
I represent...
Women who are rebellious against society, and everything they tell us we should be..I represent Fashion that isn't demonstrated in magazines but from my own creativity, and my own liking. I live with no limitations.
The reason that you are reading about me is...
Because I'm going to change the world..I have a voice and I intend to use it.
Right now I'm working on...
A lot of different things, stylist work, modeling, and on my paintings. I have a few galleries that want to showcase my work, I'm working things out.
I am inspired by...
History, feminism, fashion, and the elegance of pinup girls in the 40's and 50's.
I can not live without...
My vintage clothing, I have alot of rare priceless pieces that mean alot to me. I also dont think I'd live a day without my paintings, everytime I sell one, its like I sell a part of me.
I love...
Art. My imagination is huge and art is a reflection of an artists imagination. If you can imagine, you can bring any image to life.
My favorite brands are...
I don't have any. I don't really pay attention to brands...Most of the stuff I buy is vintage, and the brands are unknown, not famous, and still absolutely fabulous.
You need to listen to...
The beat of your own drum..Dont be influenced by your peers or magazines to look and act a certain way..Be you and those who dont love you for it dont matter, and those who do are there to stay.
I would love to give a shout out to...
Everyone who challenges society, the trend rebels, the fashion underdogs, and anyone who isnt trying to be someone they are not.
